Currently riding a Planet X Tempest which has done plenty of tours and been great so far. This year though I’m heading to Norway so I want to carry a little more clothing than usual. I want to add a couple of fork packs – maybe Ortlieb’s fork pack plus unless someone has a better suggestion – but I’ll need to swap out the current carbon forks. Happy with steel etc. I just need plenty of mounting options so it’s useful now and into the future but I’m not sure how compatibility varies. I can’t find anyone who’s done this online so I’m not sure what I need to check before buying something like https://www.brothercycles.com/shop/forks/brother-steel-gravel-fork/
Does this likely work as a straight swap?

This seems to be a straight steerer fork. You’d need a crown race that adapts this to a tapered steerer tube. Also you should measure the axle to crown length of your current fork and maybe take offset/rake into account
