Alhamdulillah why we here as yes it’s a charity event it’s called pedlers for Orphans and it’s raising money for the orphanages around the world and 100% donation policy is in place so everything gets donated alhamdulillah so we have brothers here this is one the main thing is the cycle from country to

Country Place to Place there’s a lot of money we feel blessed to have them alhamdulillah to donate money in this way um there a merchandise or will take you to one of the main team members Al we will talk to you about um what they do and how you can

Support this alhamdulillah so we’ll walk over to uh and Ja will be able to give you um a bit more insight in uh what they do alhamdulillah so shall we stand over over there Al how are you my brother so this is uh Javid um alhamdulillah we went to school together

Couple of months and the reason why we’re here today um you know I was just giving you a bit of insight uh but Javid my brother will be able to give you more information on what the cause is for and yeah yeah absolutely so first and foremost Jared FAL thank you everyone um

I’m a cyclist as are most of the guys here and through cycling he given us a z Allah’s given us an opportunity to help people and our help Z Allah’s given us in terms of who to help is these Syrian children now you all know the com about

Syria I don’t need to explain that all these kids and their families if they have any families move from Syria into Lebanon we all know we’ve seen that in the news already we’ve had the opportunity to support an orphanage in Lebanon which costs 33 Syrian children these children have no family

Members so no parents no Mom’s Dad they might have a brother or sister they might have an auntie or an uncle but parents moms and dads they don’t have them so what we’ve been doing for the last three years last third year we’ve been supporting the orphanage of these 33 children

To make it clear we support the building and the cost of the staff that’s our goal every year that cost depending on inflation anything between 22,000 and 25,000 a year the first year we did it we raised our £25,000 to the help of all the generous

People out there from the second year we managed to double that and raise 50k and that helped us to pay for another offering as well so there’s there’s another offage out there that wouldn’t meet the requirements we would H them as well and that’s all do the

Help and the donation of you people out there now this ride here the static bike ride as they call it you see the three spin bikes here we’ve been raising all our money from cycling so all our cyclists have been putting the miles together with their legs every mile

Equates to a pound a penny th000 pound whatever it is it’s all turns to cycling between us and there’s a group of nearly 30 40 50 maybe sometimes 60 Riders out there who’s all helped us and we’ve done thousands of miles our main ride every

Year which is on the 4th of May 2024 will be covering 70 miles and that 70 miles takes us what 7 hours 8 hours 10 hours depending on you know people conditions and everything and that effort and that sweat and that determination equates to the donations

That we get so what we’re saying is help us to support these children we all have kids kids need support these children need a chance why not they innocent they need a chance we’ve got the ability to support 33 kids make them give them an opportunity to live their lives and

We’re doing that by cycling so come down spend some time with us let me explain what we’re doing get involved and donate whatever you can um before we go any further um how can people donate so quite straightforward everything’s done electronically um peders Cycling Club is affiliated with World Care Foundation

It’s a charity based in and they as well um we do everything electronically most of so there’s links there’s QR codes you can connect to them doing it online and then today in person you can donate in any of the again electronic as well the car readers all that money is collected and

Through worldcare Foundation it goes on the ground and then it’s distributed as required like I said it’s generally around maintenance so the paying of staff and the building itself that’s what we will attach the uh the link in the description box uh where all the brothers and sisters will be able to uh

Donate I come for a good cause um so please please we know generously donate it is saf you know what it’s it’s a beautiful cause I’m saying that not just because I’m involved in this but also because I’ve been there I’ve been with these children I’ve held their

Hands I’ve help them they’re no different to my own kids to your kids you know they just need a chance and the crazy thing is s you know when they see men like us because they have no fathers you know I mean there’s no the sisters there who help they get that mother-in

It’s not always the same there’s no fathers there when us boys go there as Lads go there but when we go there you see these young little kids running over you know grab you they want to play with you they want to ask you Ronaldo Messi who’s the

Best all these kind of questions you know you just think so blessed we’re so blessed alhamd you know you know what we have to remember is you know if we don’t know the future we can’t predict the future our children could possibly be in the position of what these kids are today

That can happen you know and then you know when we’re not here how do we want our children to be treated you know taken care of you know alhamd and the brothers here you know Allah subh has given them the opportunity to look after these children look alhamdulillah look how beautiful is you

We when we look our children uh our children are very very fortunate alhamdulillah and when we um look at the children uh who we doing driv in the Bri are doing all this hard work for you know your hearts you know and we need to participate we really do and do as much

As big hand of these children like I said these children are like ours you know can you just imagine what if our children were in this situation you know what would we want others to do for them how would we want others to take care of them you know and alhamdulillah these

Brothers here look alhamdulillah you know we got a schedule for the whole day so once 12 son as well as a proud Uncle alhamdulillah very proud of him he stands side by side his father uh he puts a lot of effort in and this just shows the parenting skills how

Fortunate our children are that they are able to stand besides us and the children there are the Embrace and are they able to stand beside their fathers not they enough so we are a role model for them and insh Allah will take me there one day in with brother J and

The other brother as in inshah it’s a good point the whole thing I mean in the war in the situations that I mean the stories you hear from these children you know they’ve had their fathers disappear and never come back you know they’ve had their fathers come back and some form of

Ster they’ve taken their lives you know or they’ve come back and then they’ve been taken again don’t know how long they’ve gone for I met a girl over there she’s 16 17 now shepis to be a nurse but the age of probably nine or something like that both parents disappeared don’t

Know where they are she is two of her siblings two of her siblings at the age of what 11 12 by herself young siblings saf you’re not going to believe it this is a strength people have not only did she raise them they became of Quran as well in that without

Parents and that girl 17y old beautiful girl you know head scarf on you know white n face and whatever they said you’ve done all this what do you want to do she oh I want to be a nurse I want to be a nurse I want to help other people

Got still got aspirations yeah you know after going through so much trauma here we go through that kind of trauma we need weeks and weeks of therapy just to get through it this lady this girl she a beautiful girl right she’s had no support not only has she had to support

Herself but her sorry her siblings as well and she still aspires to provide in life saying not here you know we we Face we Face challenges you no matter where you liveing but we we are very fortunate to be living in a country like this but

Whenever we Face a trauma it affects us and it takes us days days and days to get back on our feet again to get through that trauma but these young children these families they’re living like third world countries aren there well they become third world countries and they have become third world

Countries it’s IR I mean we’ve seen what’s happened with Palestine what it was what it is now we’ve all seen the videos this is the same conditions they’ve come from yes of course you know but alhamdulillah we are very fortunate you know and as I was saying these terrible countries sorry these countries

BN half time you come in home going to be but these wise they don’t have that this children don’t have that you know these children they want to pick up their phone they want to speak to their father they want to say to their fathers that when you come home pick us thisll

Pick pick us this toy whatever they don’t have that how children have that we have to show the support of these children we have to show the support of these absolutely you know 37.8 miles I’m crying inside you know it’s not easy he’s very emotional you know what

Allah they put them in but you know what this is not just a test for them this is a test for us as human beings as Muslims as what we can do for these family what we can do for these children so don’t just think it’s a test for them no no no
