I just built up a Velo Orange Pass Hunter. It rides and shifts nicely but I feel I can’t fine tune things because the chainline is off. I am getting rubbing on the front derailleur. When in the big ring, I am setting my High Limit all the way in to barely clear the outer edge of the derailleur.
I am using the following components:
Tiagra 4720 Hydraulic shifters 2×10
VO Grand Cru Crankset 46/30
VO BB 118mm (recommended for 43.5mm (chainline with Grand Cru crankset)
FD-R7000 which has standard road 43.5 chainline spec.
Shimano 10spd cassette 11-34
Despite doing my homework, my chainline is measuring out to be roughly 1.875” or 47.6mm
Do you need to see a photo of there components up close?
What should I be looking for or changing here? Should I install a shorter spindle BB?

There’s no one thing that stands out conclusively as the problem here, but:
-Toggle derailleurs don’t have limit screws and if you treat the high and low adjustment screws like they’re limit screws, there’s no reason to expect it’s going to work. -If it’s actually 47.6, yes that is a lot for FD-R7000. Might still work, but I’m not sure. If you set it up correctly and it can’t clear the big ring, then yes tick down the spindle.
-Running FD-R7000 on a frame-up build with 46-30 10-speed in a world where you can just buy a compatible front derailleur built for 46-30 10-speed is not really reasonable. I’m not saying it can’t work but there’s really no reason to not put FD-RX400 on. Putting front derailleurs built for 52 on a 46 and just accepting the gap between the tail and the ring is a thing you only do if you can’t help it.
