Hi all! In the midsts of training for iron man, want to get an indoor trainer but unsure which one to go for. The bike is a 2017 rim brake Canyon (canyon speedmax cf 9.0). Any help much appreciated!

I have a v3 wahoo kickr which I use on a 2018 Ultimate rim brake.
Great piece of kit, quiet, works well, is new enough that you can use a climb but old enough that you can get a great bargain on one if you look hard enough (now).
I use mine with an apple 4k tv box & a cheap 2nd had Samsung 42″ TV in the garage.
The bike used is basically irrelevant. Just look for a direct driver trainer on market place and buy whatever looks like a good deal. Any further recommendations really depend on your budget.
