My name is Nicholas. I’m from Norway, and I discovered many years ago you can explore the world on a bicycle!

On May 2nd, I set off from Seydisfjordur on the east side of Iceland, to start my journey around the entire island.

A 1400 kilometer stretch through mountains, lava fields, black sand beaches and vast open swamps.

  1. Me: are seagulls living near waterfalls always wet?

ChatGPT: Seagulls are adapted to living in wet environments and have waterproof feathers that help keep them dry. These feathers have a special oil coating that repels water, allowing seagulls to float on the surface of the water without getting wet. Additionally, seagulls have a gland near their tail that produces an oily substance that they can spread over their feathers with their beaks to help keep them waterproof.
