  1. I did a round trip tabasalu- muuga (first trip via peterburi mnt which was hell and also like a freeway. Not recommend 😁 Use roads via pirita)

  2. Correction: both Latvia and Estonia got independence in 1918, had it till 1940, when Soviet Union occupied us, but gained it back in 1991 after the collapse of Soviet Union.

  3. pfft, try-hards with helmets and with a reflective vest. 😛 but otherwise spot-on. I ride on the sidewalk all the time.

9:40 that path in that direction is fun in the evenings because then you're the fastest thing around. the cars are busy sitting in congestion.

  4. Espetáculo! A minha namorada teve em Erasmus em Helsínquia e eu quando fui visitá-la passei um dia em Tallin! Gostei bastante apesar de estar a chover naquele dia!

  5. I finally saw this video from the beginning to the end. Thank you very much for inspiring reportage. It confirmed me in the belief that this region of Europe has many interesting places … and people. Tervitused Poolast

  6. Estonians first got their independence from Russian Empire in 1918, roughly the same time as Finnish and Latvians, not in 1991. 1991 was regaining of independence from Soviet Union's occupation.

  7. You say the middle of the city is not good for cycling but if you go around the old town wall there is an amazing park goes all the way around and is perfect to cycle through

  8. Love the video. It was very interesting to go back in time. Things have changed alot since then and I'm not sure if it's for the better. There are more of these red pained lanes on incredibly high traffic streets. They're very narrow and lack any separation from busses or cars. And now that we have such great bicycle infrastructure pedestrians walking on the sidewalks will lampoon you if you dare ride on the sidewalks for your safety.
