Looks to be in very good shape. 300 might be a little high but not much. Seeing similar bikes for $240-275 USD. My particular market is a little high on bikes and I wouldn’t go over 250. Check facebook marketplace for used bikes in your area for price comparisons.
As far as bikes go, the trek 1000 is a solid bike and good for general road biking. I had one of this exact model and quite liked it. Even the teeth on this one look good. Check the shifting and, if you can, check the chain for wear.
