Picked up this large frame 1989 Stumpjumper Team off Craigslist for my son a couple months ago that was almost all original XT. I just updated the cockpit, saddle, wider range cassette, and round chainrings (not a fan of biopace) from the parts bin, and put new DTH 2.3 tires, chain, and Jagwire cables. At some point I may replace the decals.

Super steal of a lifetime. I saw a beat up one show up on the local marketplace but it was sold withing minutes. Those bikes are cool but how tall was the person you bought it from?
