Got my new gravel bike earlier this week, Giant Revolt Advanced 2 in Starry Night color. Been spending my time sorting it out and getting it together. Pleased to see it came with Maxxis Rambler tires rather than the stock Giant. Less pleased that it didn’t have the white triangle in the seat tube, which indicates one of the newer reinforced in that area frame, or so I’ve read. But I put a round Salsa carbon post on it anyway, so hopefully all is good.
Also swapped in my Hope Tech XC wheelset that I’ve had forever, with an 11-36 cassette. Had to fine tune the brakes a bit, big thumbs up for this tool made by Birzman, called the Clam, that made this so much easier. Far easier to use than the Hayes thing I had been using. Stock Giant rear wheel with the 11-34 will now be my trainer wheel.
