    ST-R7020 uses these:

    SM-BH90-JK-SSR

    SM-BH90-J-SSR

TRP 5.0 doesn’t look like to be compatible with Shimano.

The O-ring would be the least of my concerns. More important would be if the diameter of the barb matched the hose inner and the face of the barb matched the face of the master cylinder. Second would be how that olive fits inside the shimano fitting with the barb and hose through it.

Since brakes are arguably the most important feature of a (non-fixed gear) bike, I personally wouldn’t use anything other than what the manufacturer recommends. Especially when it comee to such a small and cheap part.

  3. I wouldn’t. That back end of that barb is very different. That means any dimensions could be off.

Edit, I would want to, and I don’t advise it… but before using those clearly incompatible TRP parts, I’d amazon nextday chinesium ‘shimano compatible’ barbs.
My bike shop is 1.2mile bike ride away and they’d probably just give them to me if I was short.
