Just an FYI. See how long that whisker is on the sidewall? There was another row of whiskers just above the rim. It took me a while to realize several of them got caught in the bead preventing it from seating all the way.

This is a WTB tire and rim. When the tire inflated, and the bread rolled up to seat, the whiskers folded over. 24 hours later it was flat. Sealant eventually may have spotted the leaks. But I deflated and trimmed the whiskers.

I’ve never had that happen, so I thought a public service announcement was in order.
