So I put the front wheel on a new bike and it didn’t have the correct spacer on it. It got rolled around a bit and the rim rubbed against the carbon fork taking the overlaiment off. Is there something I can put on this or should I take it into a pro?
First image is damaged side, second is the other side for comparison.

You can put some nail polish on it. Carbon is hydrophilic – it loves to soak up water, so you do want to seal any exposed raw carbon.
Sure, you could take it to a shop, but they’ll probably use clear nail polish anyway.
