Bicycles similar to Hudski Doggler that can be found used or new cheap? Looking for a “modern rigid 90s mtb” type bike that can fit say 29×2 / 700x50c or similar. No suspension, wide tire clearance. I heard the Kona Dr Dew mayyy support this, but it has high resale value. The Marin DSX is supposedly advertised to have higher clearance than stock but falls short. It seems a bit difficult to swap for a rigid suspension adjusted fork on a rigid MTB also, and would cost some shop time. Rear rack mounts and large rear weights capacity would be good. Maybe I could buy an expensive adventure frame also but would rather not after cost of buying and installing components.
