First thing first, remove the handle grips. Fix the shifters and then reattach the grips. Good luck
Cables;
Front in front of rear, brake infront of shift
Make sure to give the housing extra length, you can trim it down if it’s too long but you can really extended it( without a cable mounted barrel adjuster) so make sure you give your self room to correct. Don’t forget to the pull cable out anytime you snip the housing. Make sure you use ferrules where needed. Pre-stretch your cables!
