Somebody tried to save the corner of this ledge by gluing a slab of steel to the side and it did not work so good. Ideally I would like to remove the steel but I don’t want to take any chunks out prying all willy nilly. Does anyone have any ideas to remove the steel? Or would filling the gap with bondo be a better thing to try first? It is barely over peg high and good to learn stuff on but won’t see much traffic.

Epoxy rather than Bondo to fill it, maybe some thinned out quickrete mix if the gap is big enough… Can you not just grind it as-is?
Bondo will crumble pretty quickly, I’d get some of that ready mix mortar for brick pointing and concrete crack filling and smear a layer of that over it
Another piece of steel? But on top. Or an L shaped piece of steel.
What’s the problem with it? Is it grabbing or something? If the steel is grabbing the dropout I’d rip it off and wax the FK outta the concrete
Remove steel.
