I have a steel frame Kona Rove that I’ve had for a couple seasons and I want to get a Rove DL with a 1 speed drivetrain and hydraulic brakes.
Do these gravel bikes hold any value or am I going to lose my ass? It is genuinely like new and I just had it tuned up. I’ve never tried to sell a bike before.

In Nor California, If I hadn’t just bought a State All-Road I would have paid 600 – 300 dollars depending on condition.
Don’t have much of an idea of the price for your specific bike, but the used market in my area is taking a beating right now. A lot of COVID purchases are up for sale and not a lot of demand.
Where I am gravel bikes and nice HT mountain bikes seem to be the only bikes that are selling. Cheap bikes, full sus, and road bikes just sit there and sit there. City bikes no idea.
Just eyeballing it, the non-hydro brakes will deter some but if it’s in good shape and depending on what drivetrain you might get 500,- for it?
For sure bikes that have hydro and x10, x11, and x12 drivetrains are what people are looking for.
