What an asinine statement “It raises a significant issue concerning the current and wider trend in time trial helmet design, which focuses more on performance than the primary function of a helmet, namely to ensure the safety of the wearer in the event of a fall”…
I hate the helmet as much as anyone else, but every piece of equipment now falls into this case, including the bike frame. But really all of it.
There needed to be an upper limit on the helmet. At some point it just becomes an aero fairing. Like why not just cover the rider’s entire head and shoulders?
