Hi I am repairing a Ridgeback MTB and there is a broken plastic piece that puts tension on the back brake and de-railleur cable. Is is located under the frame by a screw and attaches to another piece of plastic.
Can someone tell me what the part is called so I can buy a replacement?
Many thanks in advance 😄

…cable guide?
A BB gear cable guide?
But usually it’s for front and rear derailleur, not brake…
It’s a cable guide for your front mech. Bolt it on (using that conveniently located screw) and run your front mech through it and along the upper guide.
as mentioned by others…BB cable guide. Found under frame parts.
If you can’t source a replacement: Depending on the plastic, it might be glueable. Or use a large washer to hold both pieces to the BB shell.
