I think it’s a solid bit of history there. It’s hard to find soft-tail full suspension bikes from the late 90s. This was a period when Y-frames were still popular, looks like 97-01 era. What makes these special is that full suspension designs of the era either pedaled like crap OR had very little suspension travel OR they were death traps (Klein Mantra). These parts are not elite – that fork was common on $700-1500 bikes, but that’s more mid-tier for the era.

Nope. The only value I see on that bike is the pedals. That’s a weird full suspension frame, weird fork, cranks, wheels and brakes are meh and the tires look worn.

Both the shocks are either shot or will eventually fail on u. Parts to rebuild them are almost impossible to find. Hard pass. Stay away from vintage dual suspension unless u know how to rebuild them and have parts.

Doable. $200 NZD, yes. $200 USD, hmmmm

Depends are you planning mtb just commuting are you looking to upgrade components on it in the future. If the suspension works and you like the bike sure $200 if you’re gonna use it as a daily rider. If you want to hit the trails I’d say no
