My buddy and I spent a few days in Northern Ireland, in the city of Belfast to be more precise. On the same day of flying there, I did my first inline skating trip during which I explored the city center for 10 km. I had skated on the left-hand side of roads before, so that was nothing new for me. I experimented a bit with a double POV. Check out the footage of a local skating crew I encountered that night!
All right we’re here in Belfast for the first trip ever in Northern Ireland my inline skates I’ll be skating on the left of the street not my first time I’ve been in UK before I’ll see you later we’re in the city center of Belfast Northern Ireland never been here
Before I don’t see an awful lot of bikers or bike Lanes but I’ll find my way I did see a sign that bikers are allowed to take the bus lane I’m just going to guess that that helps true for airline skaters as well right over there as a sign
That bikes are allowed to use the bus lanes I figure skyless count for that as well here it is now you get used to skating on the left quite easily actually not the first time Birmingham Nottingham Cambridge and I biked also on the left and with Japan Australia India obviously the UK Finally a proper bike lane the first one today that’s of a challenge but full of Joys you speed up pavement is better I think I know why it is bike lane is here because it seems like over there the heart of the downtown area starts so to say the shopping
Area yeah definitely looks like that let’s P let a visit yeah this definitely looks like a heart of the downtown area for Sure are end of the road looks like a shopping mall or something not going to go there that is not a lot of fun that is freaking hilarious we used to have those in Amsterdam not [Applause] anymore oh this reminds me of the days back in Amsterdam huh oh
Yeah oh yeah oh this is like the Real Entertainment area at least Som how it look that’s how it looks like oh those beer carts they are hilarious I’ll tell you that So this thing here is called The Common Market not sure what it is looks pretty big to me look like some kind of place for entertainment thank you that looks like a big church oh wait remember those symbols Celtic symbols see over there I definitely associate those kind of symbols the area over
Here I seem to have exited the city center at least that’s how it looks Jing from this road over here look like a Ring Road and the houses look different that’s for Sure the road here sucks I’ll tell you that back at the city center as you can see from this side All right so we’re back at the hotel it’s about 10 km an hour was a nice prep for Sure local skaters we just happened to run into local skaters they take the sidewalks cool my fellow inline Skaters
