



hello! so it’s been a while since i’ve changed my front brake pads and the gap between the brake pads are very little now compared to my newly changed rear brake pads and the disk has a weird darker tone to it now compared to the squeaky clean back disk which was also dark coloured before changing the brake pads on the back as well. also, it makes a little bit of squeaking noise when i’m close to stopping while using the front brake. is it time to change my front brake pads?

Take them out and measure. If they are below 0.5mm then yes, you must.

You’ve taken a picture from every angle except the one that could help us answer the question!
Take out the cotter pin and look at the braking material on the pads. None of the pictures you took show anything that helps.
