Updated this rockhopper build with 10 speed and v brakes, and a basket of course. The front rack is a rear rack chopped a drilled to fit. My 94bcd chainring finally came in which prompted the slight makeover. I used a downtube shifter housing stop to fashion a brake cable stop in order to run v brakes as this frame only has the weird cantilever noodle. It’s held into the frame with a rivnut I installed and a long m5 bolt, it’s holding fast!

Sick set up! When I had my Rockhopper I used a cable stop I think from Origin8 in order to handle the rear v brake. Your bike makes me miss mine !!
