Day 63: Caring about strangers #chemoriders #biketour #cycling #travel #cancer #fuckcancer #americancancersociety #ukraine #solar #aot
Day 63 of biking around the country to help people get to their chemo appointments I woke up in time for a gorgeous sunrise and some good conversation with my last minute hosts today the Rotary Club is getting down to business with the Ukrainian delegation they’re converting a bunch of solar
Panels to USB connections and sending them overseas to help people keep their phones charged later my son and I finally got our schedules lined up to watch the big conclusion of Attack on Titan I’m not sure I really understood it things got weird in the final season
But I absolutely love the way the entire show highlighted how easy it is for we humans to demonize strangers there were at least four times throughout the series where they got you loving one group and cheering for their Noble struggle against the evil enemy only to flip everything around by showing A New
Perspective to show that The Devils were Human After All and the the heroes carried their fair share of blame for what was happening it was impressive how well the writers toyed with our perspective and pulled back the curtain on our ugly instinct to demonize our opponents except cancer still totally
Okay to demonize cancer subscribe if you want to hear about day 64 and wish me luck
