So I’m 32 years old 6’ 220. I haven’t ridden bmx since I was like 14. I am 100% disabled with the VA from my military service and have daily back pain and knee pain. I have a crappy mountain bike from dicks sporting goods for riding with my kids but I cannot get comfortable on it (try to ride no hands and the front forks are so insanely shakey) I miss the bmx feel. My son has the fit bike Caiden 16in (he’s 7) and my daughter now has a verde that I picked up on Facebook market place that I thought and hoped would fit me. I’m talking to a few possibilities on market place right now. One of them is a Sunday funday am for 150. Another is a cult(unknown model waiting for him to get back to me) for 120. From the research I’ve done (and the fact that the verde TT is 19.5) I’m thinking I need like a 22-23in TT. Any input would be appreciated, I’m not planning on riding hard just manuals wheelies and riding around town mostly. My daughter’s verde and the 150 dollar Sunday pic for attention.

Are tires like that for dirt ?
The only problem with being in the 6′ or taller with BMX is the seat post. But that’s just my problem being 6’3.
This is just my opinion on seat posts. I ride my 20″ BMX standing most of the time but if I do sit I prefer to have a taller seat post just so I can peddle. If your planning on doing tail whips then stick with the shorter seat posts. I also feel that BMX seats now days are just there for if you land hard on the ass.
WTP do a 22” wheel and frame bmx. I’m 6’4” and it was a revelation after 40+ years of bikes that were too small.
