Hi, today I forgot to unclip my right pedal and fell like an idiot in front of my garage. Luckily I was able to use my arm to stop the fall and there are no scratches on the frame, only these 2 little scratches on the transmission.
Is this something that can compromise the functionality of the transmission or something only aesthetic? What should I check?
I have full insurance from canyon but I don’t know if it’s worth ask for a replacement.

It’s a gravel bike, scratch away!
Those scratches would only impact performance if you bent your derailleur then shifting would be off. Once you come to terms that your bike will be scratched many more times riding becomes more enjoyable 🙂
Use an edding to cover the scratches, it works perfect for a while. Swapping the derielleur is a pretty simple task 🙂 nothing to worry about! Nice bike, I like the color way more than the sand one.
