Looking at this Nishiki RC 5000.
Sellers description is “Bike has Shimano leavers , Sakae bars , Aero chrome molly forks , frame no 00054 .”
Save for the missing seat is this an okay buy for $100 AUD? I’m just looking for a basic cheap commuter that might need a service to be working well.

Considering you’re going to have to buy a saddle and may need to replace tires, brake pads, chain and cables, I’d offer between $50 and $75 AUD. See what happens. I’m a sucker for vintage Japanese steel bikes. I’d probably go have a look if it was in my area at that price.
