Tried to swap cassette but didn’t work. Put on same cassette back but somehow it won’t shift to smallest cog. Also cassette makes sound. Not sure what is wrong. CS-R8000 cassette. Zipp 808 clinchers.

Did you put all the spacers back correctly? What did you do to the freehub that you think you messed it up?
Did you grab it with pliers?
It’s hard to imagine how you damaged the freehub when swapping a cassette. It’s more likely the sprockets weren’t on properly somehow, or the lockring wasn’t tight enough. Or a spacer is missing somewhere.
Did it look like that when you took your cassette off initially? I’ve never seen it that bad but cassettes scoring freehub can happen.
Is that a HED feeehub? I’ve found them a bit soft. Had to gently file down the gouges so the cassette went on cleanly.
