Hi all.
I stripped the torx on the seat post adjustment screw/bolt. See in pics. I should have been taking the wheel off to do it because the provided tool is too long. So got lazy and of course stripped it. Is there any loc tite type solution you could recommend for removal? Also where do I get a new screw like this? I notice my bike came with a similar looking screw but It’s a hex and seems slitly bigger. See also in pic 2. Any help would be appreciated.

It wasn’t a torx to begin with. It’s a hex key, you might be able to get something similar at the local hardware store. Just look for set screws. I wouldn’t put that back in since it might not come out next time. You can try using the one in picture 2 it looks same.

In Germany for example every screw is normalized (M3, M4, M5 etc) and you can get a new one online or in hardware shops.
