Finally my first bike ever!!

Until the beginning of this year I didn’t even have a bike that I could say was mine. They were always bicycles that came from my father or my uncle.

As I want to start going to work by bicycle I decided to buy one that was very close to my year of birth (1996).

Without any knowledge of mechanics I bought this bike and decided to add some parts and see if I would finally have my first bike and be part of the /xbiking team!!

– Shimano Cues 1×10 groupset
– Ergotec Stugartter handlebar
– KTM Sport saddle
– Decathlon plastic pedals
– Rigid fork from my LBS
– Maxxis DTH 26×2.30
– Used Mavic X317 wheels with Shimano Deore hubs (in the future I may put disc break on the front)
– Rockbros grips (AliExpress)
– Gold cable housing (AliExpress)

As I said, it was the first time… I had several problems and had to buy a lot of tools that I didn’t have. But I think in the end the result was to my liking.

I’m looking forward to the rain stopping… I really want to try it.

P.S: I liked the experience so much that I bought another frame to make another bike. 😅
