Hi good people, newb trying to put together a new wheel set for the first time (Deore XT WH-M8120 wheel) and I noticed there’s nowhere to bolt in the disk brake.. what do I need to attach the brake to this? The wheel says it’s meant for disk brakes, but I’m not having any luck searching for this.. thanks!

Wrong type of rotor. You need one that is centre lock type.
Maybe you can buy adaptors?
I’d just return/swap for the correct type.

The hub uses the centre lock attachment system.
The disc is for the 6-bolt system.
You need a centre-lock disc, or an adaptor for 6-bolt to centre-lock.
