From the ashes of a 90s SS MTB with seized seatpost. Reynolds tubes, cut off the rim brake bosses, repainted a RDS heattube logo/badge, home grown wheels 130mm sealed surly r hub, evo sealed f hub mixmacthed gravel king & Donnely x’plor 38s. Can’t remember the rims, just some old hybrid ones I had laying around.
Set up ghetto tubeless w/gorilla tape and Stans sealant, and random valves.
Mixmatched shimano crankset, one black one silver arm, Straitline 40t SS MTB ring with red amazon bolts matched to a 3/32 gusset 17t cog and SS chain. Shimano sealed BB, MEC spd pedals, For the cockpit its nachos favorite condiment, a Salsa 460 cowchipper wrapped in brooks all weather tape attached to a Specialized polished stem w/angle adjust steer tube shim, red wolftooth stem cap, spacers and stem bolts. NONAME sealed amazon headset. Repainted State 4130 fork. MEC polished seatpost, again with tha Salsa lip lock collar all topped off with a “crack&fail” parts bin saddle. Red bottle cage bolts holding down a 49n retro styled bottle cage. And lets not forget a Knog Oi premium bell. This bike SLAYS!
