I’ve ridden this bike more than any other I’ve owned, which is saying something. It has very narrow tires on it, like 25c I think, but it hasn’t stopped me from taking it on dirt trails for dozens of miles. I moved to a much hillier area, so I’m thinking about replacing the cranks with something I can stick a smaller first chainring on. Ideally I’d also like flat bars, 1x, and a thumb shifter, but I’m slow to change. Also I’m not quite sure how to do it, while keeping these thin tires. I’m not sure I can even fit much more in there. It’s pretty narrow.

  2. I have a 1984 Miyata Six Ten and it’s one of my favorite bikes. I managed to stuff 38s in there but it’s made for touring.

    Such great frames.
