  1. Depending on what wheels you have, some have different end caps. That are slightly longer/shorter for different configurations.

    Is your casette torqued to spec? Had this as well on a new build but turned out I forgot to tighten the cassette properly 😭

    I just had a similar issue. I had picked up a spacer from the bike shop after asking for a 1.85mm spacer, the mechanic said there is only one size of spacer so handed me one and didn’t measure.

    Turns out he was wrong and there are multiple spacer sizes because the one he handed me was 2.1mm. Just enough to cause problems.

    Did you recently change the cassette? How many cogs on the cassette? Is there a spacer between the cassette and the wheel.

  4. Did you say you regreased your cassette? There’s no need for grease when installing a cassette and it would be better to not use grease. Once installed the cassette does not move on the freehub body. Grease attracts dirt.
