removing the crown race is an issue
I think such gaping almost to be expected. If there is no other signs of something being wrong, such as wobbles in the fork, I don’t think you need to worry about.
Do not use with the crown race.
Go ride your bike, and stop picking at it.
Lmk if you get any differnet answrrs, have got a similar gap.going on and i do a lot of disasters / 50/50ing stuff in skateparks so am concerned the headset may just implode one day.
