I’ve just received the Canyon fenders for my Grizl AL and I’m just a bit confused by the instruction sheet. The sheet shows to only screw the fender to the seat tube mount on carbon bikes, but I don’t see how the fender can stay in place otherwise if you don’t do this on an alloy frame.
I’m assuming this is just a mistake?

That sheet is garbage for several reasons. You use all mointing points of course. Additionally I used one of the smaller spacers between each fender and frame – contrary to what the sheet suggests.
I think what the sheet wants to tell us is, that you use the longer spacer on carbon frame seat posts.
