  1. That's barely even a bikelane,
    A) It should be segregated from the pedestrian area in some capacity, even giving a few inches between the two ways would help you differentiate them
    B) The Bike lane should be painted a different, bright, easily visible colour which ideally should be regulated by a state/federal body, red, orange, green or pink would be ideal for various reasons.
    C) Obviously the paint is dissolving and needs to be redone
    D) The metal barricade which seperates the road from the bike lane looks like shit and feels isolating, so you should ideally seperate the space with a line of trees however if space is an issue then a simple line of concrete to make an elevated area become a lowet plain bike lane would suffice, clearing seprating the spaces, whilst offering the biker a sense of security.

Also why does it look like city in so many develooef nations like The USA are rundown, degenerating, loud and cultureless environments?

  2. Lviv is fantastic overall. But bike lanes in there are indeed trash unfortunately. Even worse than in Kyiv.

This stretch of the Horodotska St is one the worst places in the city for either walking or driving or biking. It's a traffic choke point.
