    I’ve always wanted to see one of those cheap forks in a “test-until-failure” scenario. Interesting that it looks like it failed right at the crown race.

  3. Honestly, there probably aren’t many rigid forks that are rated for a 2ft drop. My Surly with a steel fork has an ASTM rating of 3, which is less than 24″. You can get away with more if you’re lucky and not near the max weight of the bike, or you don’t buy questionable-QA carbon forks, lol.
