New (to me) frame and wheelset day!

Excuse the shitty pictures but it’s dark out and I just couldn’t contain my excitement.

Picked up a ‘new’ ‘09 Colossi (built by Jan himself while he was in China). Frame is pristine, hasn’t seen anything resembling components in all these years from what I can tell. I grew up a few km’s from where Jan himself was born and a few more km’s from where he is now building his bikes. Having one of these felt like it would be a good ways away into the future, so picking up a functionally new frame for practically penny change is a score for me.

Wheels are well-used Formation Faces on Phil Woods hubs. They need a good clean but are tight and true.

They’ll have to live in storage for a little bit longer until I figure out what I want to do with it in terms of components. I have a few ideas, but open to good suggestions!
