00:00 work on Forum roof + Compass
02:05 on many sidewalks and bike paths, the melted snow has accumulated so much water that it has practically made crossing without getting wet impossible; 62°15’18.72”N 25°46’29.28”E
02:11 the same, now at 62°15’30.96”N 25°46’42.96”E
02:44 due to temperatures slightly above freezing, the snow has turned slushy, causing vehicles’ wheel tracks and people’s footprints to sink deep
03:31 accumulated water at 62°16’13.44”N 25°47’21.12”E
03:39 and at 62°16’15.24”N 25°47’17.52”E
03:53 wheel tracks in the slush at 62°16’12.00”N 25°47’11.40”E
04:47 (flea market part starts here): dunno if this is genuine
05:05 receipt for a plate
05:09 “Hi!” pins of the local University’s language dept. in several languages – damn I didn’t get the Japanese one 🙁 Hope it’ll still be there on Monday
05:17 four different Bandai Namco’s Battle Record Collections, all sealed, for pretty cheap
05:48 dunno where this hand fan was manufactured
06:11 a handmade(?) Finnish wall clock, 1985, from Lehto-somebody producing clocks branded “Lehtokello”
06:25 German Hi-Fi / audio mags at SPR
06:42 a horn (of unknown origin) and a lot of new analogue cameras
07:36 six of these cameras I did not separately video
07:59 Finnish painting
08:10 the cameras, one by one: Yashica Minimatic C
08:10 the Ihagee Exa II body is in very poor condition: one of the dials just falls off
08:41 Kodak Brownie Flashmite 20
09:00 the three-value aperture of this Brownie works in the same way as that of for example their Brownie 8mm series like the Kodak Brownie 8mm Movie Camera II – just a mechanical disc in front of / inside the lens
09:09 a Dacora Digna with the 75 mm f/4.5 Dignar C lens (the latter is pretty hazy), really not worth more than the asking price; for example this 19eur one: https://kamerastore.com/products/dacora-digna-7 seems to be in similar condition
09:24 Bencini Comet S, in very poor condition, really isn’t worth more than the 6eur asking price
09:44 a Halina 35X (see http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Halina_35X ). Another pretty worthless camera.
10:03 Carena AF 35 ML
10:22 found further problems w/ Exa II body: stuck shutter
10:31 …and mirror
10:41 … but at least the lens (very common Meyer-Optik Görlitz Domiplan 50mm 2.8) is completely in order. It’s cheap lens but I found the combined 16eur price for the body and the lens OKish, given that I may be able to reuse parts of the Exa II body in my other Exa cameras, should the need arise
11:26 fire extinguisher, origin unknown
11:55 Japanese-released LP with the obi strip for cheap
12:07 Moomin
12:15 original gear VR headset for a whopping 28eur
12:19 Timex T80 Pac-Man for 80eur – pretty overpriced for a new budget watch, I’d say
12:24 Finnish glass
12:34 Genesis LP
12:37 a Finnish-made “Landola” guitar. Dunno the model number; the 60eur asking price is VERY fair, given that these run at significantly higher prices, even used ones. More info: https://landola.fi/fi/tuote-osasto/kitarat/
12:47 and a standard e-guitar
12:56 tons of LPs, all for 1eur only
17:41 a Melodija (Soviet) LP; picked it for further investigation because of the Japanese pic in the corner; then, it turned out to be just a Carmen LP
18:00 GDR LP “Raritäten Für Kontrabaß”. Both the original (1987) and the repress (1988) ETERNA versions are very rare and expensive (which is pretty rare for GDR LPs). Instabuy.
18:19 Swedish LP: Elisabet Hermodsson – Disa Nilsons Visor. Not very rare
18:26 a Czechoslovakian LP
18:34 further LP browsing
20:14 another quite rare and expensive GDR LP: Cantabile – Berühmte Zugaben. Instabuy.
20:20 very rare and old Finnish gospel LP “Circulus – Puoleesi Herra”. Only found in libraries ( https://www.finna.fi/Record/tiekko.327632?sid=3517260509 ), not anywhere else (Discogs / for sale etc). Instabuy.
20:28 another rare / expensive Finnish gospel LP: “Kipinät – Kuulkaas Tämä!”. Instabuy.
20:36 a 1954 (!), Finland-related Decca LP: Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2 In D Major. Despite the age, not rare.
20:44 further LP browsing
21:30 Lobo – Calumet. Not rare.
21:38 further LP browsing
22:23 “ARS MUSICA – Sacra”, 1979, Participants: Eskilstuna City Piper; Conductor: Jarl Einar Johansson, ES 004, autog’ed (in 1980) by 12 artsists (!!!). This is a VERY rare (which doesn’t happen often with Swedish LPs) self-release. The choir’s release list ( https://www.discogs.com/artist/5477259-Elimkyrkans-Kör-Eskilstuna ) doesn’t even list the LP and the only for-sale hit was a cached hit at bokborsen.se listing the LP for SEK 132 (appr. 11e) but it’s not available any more. INSTABUY, of course!
22:35 further LP browsing
22:49 Finnish gospel LP “Jericho Brass” ( https://www.finna.fi/Record/fikka.4986459 ), very rare, a single for-sale hit (for 9eur)
22:56 further LP browsing
23:59 two receipts: LPs & Exa II
