  1. Which dropper post model? Is the air pressure up to the recommended spec? What torque was used on the seat post clamp, or if you loosen the seat post clamp does it extend further?

    Looks like a Kona Process, which generally use TranzX droppers in my experience. If the seatpost clamp is not overtightened, and the cable is pulling smoothly through the housing, it’s most likely an issue with the cartridge. The internals on these posts are very basic and use a sealed cartridge to actuate the post. These do have a habit of failing but may be covered under warranty, depending how old it is.
