3 years ago I converted my ‘04 Gary Fisher Ziggurat to a drop bar gravel bike (https://www.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/p7eqxj/inspired_by_this_sub_updated_my_old_xc_racer/) for commuting, pulling the kids in the trailer and on the trial-a-bike, and bike camping with the kids. Recently, I acquired a New Albion Privateer for the same purpose, taking most of the drivetrain off the Ziggurat to make it happen.
But what to do with the old Ziggurat frame? Ended up spray painting it chameleon green/blue and putting on a SRAM 1×12 to make it a fully rigid 26” shredder. Thought this sub might appreciate.
