Can anyone tell me a little about this bike?
Bought it at an estate sale for pretty cheap considering what it is.
It has carbon fiber seat stays, which I haven’t seen on other of these bikes from the little info I can find about it.
If I were to fix it up and sell it, what would you recommend doing and or replacing/keeping?
I’ve build a couple bikes, but mainly just with stuff from my local co-op, never anything this high end so l’m a little out of my element.
Any help is appreciated, and I can take more pics if wanted! Thanks!

I would check all of the consumable items like tires and brake pads. Make sure the rubber is still soft and compliant, absent of any cracks or dry spots. If they hold air for a few days without losing much pressure, the tubes are probably ok, but putting in some fresh tubes is never a bad idea on a bike of unknown past. Check the chain and drivetrain for rust/corrosion, lubricate as necessary. Aside from that, check the hub, crank and headset bearings for adjustment and smooth operation and give the wheels a good tension check and true if needed.

Gary Fisher had some early 2000s hardtail MTB’s with carbon seat stays and I think LeMond road bikes may have had a model with carbon seat stays around the same time.
Wonder if the fork is original, looks like one from a Via Nirone
If it fits, ride it! Looks sick. Campy Record 10sp is one of the best gruppos ever produced and will last lifetimes
