I took my 2022 Aeroad CF SLX to a shop yesterday for a bike fitting. In the process, we decided we should raise up the bars a bit. We loosened up the headset to add in more of the Canyon spacers. However, when it came to put it back together, I screwed in the “special tool” and then went and tightened down the headset. I then tried to remove the special tool but it was stuck. I had to re-loosen the headset and remove the tool. After I got it out, the tool was bent and warped. We then couldn’t get the headset tightened again. My shop tried to fix it but they don’t know what to do with it and recommended I reach out to canyon. I’m not the first owner, bought it from a guy on FB Marketplace. Anyone know what might be going on here, and how I can best go about fixing this?
