Picked up a Samsonite Stryde 2 Large Glider when it went on sale recently for $212, new. Figure it was too good a price to pass up when other Brompton specific travel cases cost more with less features.
I did have to remove the seat from the seatpost and water bottle holder on the stem to get it to zip close. I would also remove the hinge clamps to avoid having them bent. I will surely pad certain areas with styrofoam when packed as well.
If there’s interest in fitting an H stem C-line, I will try that will report back. Otherwise, the S stem (with aftermarket JK bars that flare out more than OEM bars) P-line fits.

Nice. I got the soft brompton suitcase and have traveled a few times with it now. I always wrap mine with protection as I’m afraid it will get damaged.
