Hi folks,
I want to remove this broken single speed freewheel from this hub.
When I’ve done these in the past I’ve had a complete wheel and the subsequent leverage of being able to turn it. For this one I have just a hub… and no vice.
I’ve had the tool on it, it’s not budging at all.
I was thinking maybe I could do a destructive removal, seeing as I’m not going to keep the freewheel. But wondered if anyone had any tips before I do that?

You need to relace the wheel with spokes in order to have enough leverage. Not gonna happen otherwise.
That’s the right way to do it. The wrong way is a dremel or an angle grinder. You risk cutting the hub threads though.
If you’re reusing the hub it’s going to have to be built into a wheel, no?
Just built the wheel first, then remove it.
Don’t be tempted to lace just one side. You can twist the hub in half that way.
Lace a new wheel. Doesn’t have to be round or true just evenly tightened spokes and you should get the freewheel off. Or lace it to the new rim normaly.
Try a large strap wrench on the hub body. You may need to wrap some old tube around it first for more friction.
