Installed M971 on Dura Ace 7800 for wide gear range. This derailer does not have a rear cable adjuster. ?? All other shimanos do so not sure why it was removed.
What cable adjuster can be used with this derailer given that the cable housing entry point has no threads? Thanks.

That derailleur never had a barrel adjuster. A lot of MTB RDs don’t. MTB shifters have an adjuster, and you don’t need two. You’ll need to install an in-line adjuster.
