You’ll want to start with a saddle. Makes for a less painful ride 😳

Perhaps you can get your hands on a complete groupset. Dura Ace 7400 would be pretty neat on this.

I’ve got a similar era bonded Look with Shimano 600 and a Look branded carbon blade / alloy steerer.
I ride it gingerly every so often, I just can’t get this illogical fear of the fork collapsing. Any thoughts on how long these vintage carbon forks will last? It obviously isn’t a forever item, period correct replacements are probably similarly aged….

Lots of people are saying dura ace and fully restore, but unless you are very into road bike racing…. Do what you want.
I personally wouldn’t run that front fork. I would save it but use a steel fork or new carbon. I also would change the stem and bars up because I’d want a more comfortable cockpit.
But just adding a seat, new bar tape, and lubing up the chain is valid as well

Lovely bike, I have similar, a Corsa Zero Uno, so named for the Dedaccai 01 tubing. Dedaccai was an offshoot of Columbus formed by some engineers who wanted to make even harder steel. I believe that this is one of the earlier bikes to utilize ovalized down and seat tubes at the bottom bracket. It’s neat to me that they used this with lugged construction, as most of the subsequent bikes being made of ovalized tubing were welded. It’s among the stiffest bikes I have ever ridden, and just screams out to be ridden as hard as possible. I believe it would have originally come with a fully chromed EMerckx fork and threaded headset with quill stem if you want to go the restoration route with this beautiful frame.

Just restore it. That’s a great bike.
