My favorite thing I’ve transported by bike was a 2.5m tall houseplant. I took my mountaineering backpack and a shitty old blanket, wrapped the (heavy) pot up in the blanket, stuffed it in the backpack, and rode (slowly) across the city with it. Never gotten more looks on a bike than that day!

Nice. In my bike hauling days I would pack both my Ortlieb 40L panniers to capacity with groceries and strap a big bag of charcoal across the top.
