As stated, purchased a pair of new bibs – Van Rysel Cofidis replica edition. They feel unreal. I’m wearing M in all of their other gear – both bibs and jerseys.
The issue with these bibs is the chamois feels massive. Super comfy, but not like my other ones. I haven’t ridden in it yet cos I’m worried about right of return, and there’s no smaller sizes listed. The legs are a good fit.
I haven’t washed them yet – would this make a difference? It’s been so long since I’ve had new shorts and I wonder if this is just an ‘unworn chamois’ feeling?

Bibs are for riding, not standing around your flat feeling awkward. My Pactimo bibs feel enormous when just standing around, but they’re delightful for riding.
