It’s not only cyclists who run red lights.

You can report road crime online here in London: https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/rti/rti-a/report-a-road-traffic-incident/
In the rest of the UK you can use the NextBase Portal to find your local force submission portal:

  1. That wasn't even an 'early red', which would still be illegal. I did a course for the time I got caught speeding a few years ago, and yes, I found it effective. I learnt, for example, that in the UK, you can't exceed the speed limit to overtake someone – in some countries I've lived, you could do so to a small degree. Should have known, and getting caught was my own fault, but now I'm careful not to.

  2. Every day this happens near me. Drivers treating the lights as advisory during rush hours and match days (I live near a football ground).
Yet the council want nothing to do with it.
    Good job Mikey.

  3. Probably a roadie on a weekend. Actually that rider coming up beside you then cutting in front of the Ford Mach-e seemed to be coming in with speed. If the car and EVs really can accelerate once they've got their 2000kg of mass rolling had set off a bit quicker the cyclist would have been in trouble. Better to have slowed down and slipped in behind the car

  4. Taxi clearly went for it – I personally lost count of taxi drivers who behave like it does not apply to them. One parked on my bumper last week, ran out to try and buff off the evidence while I was taking pictures, initially refused to give details until I told him it's 9 points on his licence, tried to coerce me into not calling the inusrance, then had the cheek to tell me to give my car to his mates who would fix it for free….

  5. This must go on all the time, but I don't expect to see taxi drivers doing this they know full well they could loose their licence which also means their job. Well done Mikey.

  6. That wasn't marginal was it??!!! Definitely a "F'it" red light. I think in the mind of some taxi drivers the Green badge has a magical effect (bit like a reverse Uno card) and legally turns any red traffic lights into green lights. In the same way that it allows taxi drivers to be in control of the vehicle when they're waving their arms around solely looking in the rear view mirror while complaining to the passenger about housing prices, immigration etc. From recent personal experience it also appears to change the safe passing distance from 1.5 metres to 1.5 decimetres. And of course it's all the bicyclists fault anyway….. Scary number of green badge holders on their phones. I guess it's like most things, small percentage letting down an otherwise good bunch of people. It just surprises me that anyone whose employment is solely reliant on being able to drive is willing to risk a ban.
